It was the fifth of November four hundred and ten years ago that yet another man failed miserably in an attempt to overthrow the government. Now every year we celebrate the inadequacies of the male gender by ceremonially burning stuff in a huge fire.
This Guy Fawkes Night at 6:30 PM, Jewdas’ Women (and non-Binary) Caucus will be celebrating with #BURNALLGUYS because who could pass up that pun. You are invited to a film screening of “The Wedding Song” followed by a discussion about interfaith women’s organising and plotting the downfall of the State.
Male allies are welcome but will be asked to sit quietly on the balcony and try not to be seen or heard.
